1. DPDP scope

2. Data Fiduciary and purpose limitation

cogniaiz acts as a Data Fiduciary for user account, support, and billing records. We process personal data for specific service purposes, including account operation, extraction workflows, and payment compliance.

3. Consent and lawful use

By submitting personal data in the product, you consent to processing for the clearly stated purposes in our policies. We do not sell personal data to ad networks.

4. Your rights under DPDP

  • Right to access a summary of personal data processed about you.
  • Right to correction and completion of inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Right to erasure, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to grievance redressal through our Grievance Officer.
  • Right to nominate another person to exercise rights in specified circumstances.

5. Cross-border and processor handling

Some processing can involve infrastructure or sub-processors outside your state or country. We use contractual and technical safeguards and only share data needed to provide the service.

6. Grievance route

For DPDP requests or complaints, contact /grievance-officer. We aim to acknowledge valid grievances within 48 hours.
